Oconee teacher group recognizes four seniors
Oconee Teacher Forum scholarships are being awarded this year to high school seniors who plan to attend a four-year college and major in education. Certificates were presented this week by Fred Edgerton, Oconee Teacher of the Year, to Kelsey Ramey of West-Oak High School, Tommy “T-J” Galloway of Walhalla High School, Kierra Douglas of Seneca High School, and Noah Powell of Tamassee-Salem High School. Kelsey, “T-J”, Kierra, and Noah are among 22 Oconee seniors since the Oconee Teacher Forum started awarding scholarships five years ago. If you would like to make a donation to the scholarship fund or like more information about the scholarships, contact Annette Orr at the district office in Walhalla. You can reach her at [email protected] or phone 886-4400, ext. 6126.
