Oconeean joins the Furman Board of Trustees

Two men with Oconee County connections are being welcomed to the board of trustees at Furman University.  They are Salem resident Carl Kohrt and former Seneca resident Merl Code.  Kohrt spent 29 years as an executive with Eastman Kodak and served as interim Furman president in 2013-14.  Code is an attorney who grew up in Seneca where he was a star Blue Ridge High School football player who enjoyed a short pro career in the ill-fated World Football League.
