Oconee’s 5-year school plan

While Oconee School District proceeds with construction of a new Walhalla High School, the question raised is what other project might the county trustees commit to in the future? Apparently there are plenty to choose among. According to information released today by the district, future projects to be considered are a new Seneca middle school, an auxiliary gym at West-Oak High, expansion and room addition at Walhalla’s James Brown Elementary, property acquisition in the West-Oak area, gym expansion at Walhalla Elementary, and an aquatic center partnership with the YMCA.
