Oconee’s July 4 weather varies year-to-year

Oconee County enjoyed weather in the 90s yesterday, if enjoy is the appropriate word. The official Walhalla high reading reached 92 degrees—as recorded by Weather Observer Barbara Wilson. Oconee’s July 4 weather has varied for at least the last three years. Hot this year, soaking wet last year, and so hot in 2012 that the county back then baked in temperatures in excess of 100 degrees.
