Officers on the road, as usual, on Monday!

Oconee County regular offices are closed Monday to observe Confederate Memorial Day. But it’s no holiday for the men and women who keep the peace. One media report, Sheriff Mike Crenshaw says, erroneously gave the impression that his office would completely shut down. In reality, the administrative offices housing the office staff, are closed for the holiday, but officers, as always, will patrol the roads. Investigative operations will take place, also. And it’s no off-day for the first term sheriff. He will be at work, also.
