Official: final tallies for Seneca candidates

As announced yesterday by Bob Brock, chairman of the Oconee Election Commission, here are the final and official vote count for the eight candidates this week for four seats on the Seneca City Council. The final tallies include the regular ballots, five provisional (or challenged) votes and three write-in votes. The four declared winners are Joel Ward, 436; Stuart Pohl, 368; Scott Durham, 365; and Denise Rozman, 314. Others were Ernest Riley, 311; Robert Holbrooks, 309; Joel Arnold, 306; and Andrea Alewine, 290. A former Seneca councilman, Bill Evatt, received one of the three write-in votes.
