Everyone is invited to the graded property for a new Walhalla High School for this afternoon’s 5 o’clock ceremony to officially break ground. In a 96/3/WGOG NEWS interview, District One trustee Jerry Lee expressed no worries that a delay in deciding exactly how much to spend on the project will interfere with the district’s goal to open the new school in time for the 2015-16 year. The timetable to have the school open for classes allows for 26 months, weather considerations included.
