Open house for Veterans Affairs

West Union residents Fred and Barbara Rowland were welcomed as the first official visitors to the new home of the office of the Oconee County Veterans Affairs. The office recently moved across Walhalla, from the county’s Pine Street complex to a location inside the former textile building that serves as the headquarters of the Department of Social Services. Everyone has an invitation to open house at the Veterans Affairs’ new offices: from 2 to 4 o’clock Friday afternoon, December 14.
