Operation Smurf Nabs 3 more; seeking others

Arrests continue in what the Oconee County Sheriff’s office calls “Operation Smurf.” The operation, which began Monday, has resulted in the arrests of 29 people as of Wednesday afternoon. Two people were arrested Tuesday: 31 year old Jennifer Beth Hippensteal and 35 year old Ernest Wayne Hippenstal, both of 112 Triangle Drive, Seneca were both charged with Consipiracy to Manufacture meth.  On Wednesday, Teresa Diane Durham, 46 of the same address was arrested on charges of Conspiracy to Manufacture meth.  Operation Smurf began Monday, and is targeting individuals who purchase Pseudoephedrine for the purpose of giving the drug to those who are manufacturing “  The Sheriff’s department is still searching for two individuals:  32 year old Timothy Jospeh Myers of North Hunter Street, Seneca, and 22 eyar old Alley Elizabeth Eades of North Harbor Drive, Seneca.
