OSD projects no tax increase

April 15, 2014

School budget writers project no tax increase will be required for a new year of public education in Oconee County. At the same time, the budget given tentative approval by trustees last night will draw about $4.5 million from the district’s reserve. District officials say the reserve now stands around $21,850,000.
