OSD top performer in achievement test

All Oconee schools exceeded the midway position in both state and national performance for public schools in the achievement test called A-C-T. It’s a test that measures academic skills and knowledge critical for success in college. The Oconee district this morning released a chart of top performing districts statewide that ranks Oconee number nine. Dr. Mike Lucas, district superintendent, says, “The ACT is a K-12 test in that it measures students at the end of their public school career planning to attend college.”
