Westminster combines two bonds into one

Westminster leaders are on their way to combining two utility revenue bonds into one. City Administrator Jeff Lord told the mayor and council last night that refinancing the debt will help create funds to pull off three additional projects: Cobb Bridge Road, highway 76 waterline, and Hampton Street sewer line.

City leaders meet Eric Brown

Westminster’s newest policeman is Eric Brown. And last night Chief Dean Awalt introduced Brown to the mayor and city council. Awalt said he became familiar with Brown while the two worked for the Seneca Police Department. Brown has other law enforcement experience working for a sheriff’s office in Florida.
