A mishap occurred Friday at the Oconee Jail Construction site. Sheriff Mike Crenshaw quotes the contractor as saying an employee installing lights while on a ladder accidentally touched a live wire and fell a distance of five feet. No other information immediately available.

Worker falls at the new jail site

A worker fell while at work on the site of the new Oconee County jail. The accident occurred Friday. Sheriff Mike Crenshaw says he is checking with the project manager for New South Construction to ascertain the extent of the worker’s injuries.
