DOT crews worked to restore traffic signals

DOT crews worked yesterday to restore traffic signals at U-S 123 and South Carolina 93 near Clemson. A spokesman for the Oconee Sheriff’s Office said officers were investigating the circumstances of an accident, in which a car hit the traffic control box for that highway juncture.

Saturday’s victim was Sandra Faye Dickson

The victim in Saturday night’s pedestrian and vehicle accident in Oakway was Sandra Faye Dickson. Coroner Karl Addis identified the 63-year old Dickson as the woman killed by an SUV headed west on South Carolina 24. Motorcycle wreck proves fatal

A Sunday evening motorcycle accident near Seneca proved fatal to its operator—a 38-year old man. Coroner Karl Addis said the victim, Martinze Oneal Buchanan, went into cardiac arrest and died in the emergency room at the hospital an hour later.
