Prisoner’s request called “frivolous”

State prisoner Dan Temple Jr. says his due date to be released is September 1, and when he is freed he wants protection from law enforcement. Plans set for communitywide service

Plans are set for Walhalla’s communitywide Good Friday service. It’s an opportunity for worshippers from all faiths to congregate for the Easter season. This year’s service will be Friday at College Street Baptist Church, with the Rev. Ken Reid the speaker. A meal will be served at noon. The service begins at 12:30.
