A jury in the Oconee General Sessions Court has acquitted a 32-year old man arrested and charged with assaulting police officers while resisting arrest. Hikers found

A search today for hikers along the Chattooga River has succeeded in locating those who were missing.  And Mike Crane, District Ranger, says the hikers are fine–having been found near the highway 28 bridge not far from Georgia.  No details as yet to as how they came to difficulty.
