Bloodmobile makes Walhalla stop

You can make a gift of life this afternoon at Walhalla. The Blood Connection will stage its bloodmobile in front of Walhalla’s First Citizens Bank where it will accept blood donations between 2 and 5 o’clock. The Blood Connection tries to collect more than 400 units of blood each day.

I-85 accident

An accident reported I-85 northbound between the three and four mile marker in Oconee County has left a section of the interstate blocked to traffic. State troopers logged the accident shortly before 5:30 this morning. No injuries reported.
