Fatigued hiker rescued

Rescuers from Oconee Emergency Services rendered aid to a hiker yesterday in the vicinity of Stumphouse Tunnel Park. According to Scott Krein, the hiker suffered fatigue in temperatures 85 to 90 degrees and required assistance. The rescue party trekked about one mile into the woods from the main tunnel to find the hiker.

Fire fighters attend to grease fire
