Public schools infused with $23 million

The financial condition of Oconee public schools last month dramatically changed….for the good. Gloria Moore, finance director, told the trustees the district received $23 million dollars in collections from the county. In high school baseball Tuesday, Daniel Singleton pitched a complete game one-hitter with 12 strikeouts to lead the West-Oak Warriors pas the Daniel Lions 11-1. In softball, the Lions got the win, 3-1, over the Warriors. Ashton Martin gets the win on the mound for the Lions.
