Missing man’s kayak found

The kayak of the man missing at Lake Hartwell has been found–on the Georgia side of the lake, according to Sheriff Mike Crenshaw of Oconee County.  Crenshaw says his office has offered searchers the services of its helicopter to search for the man still missing.  So far, he has been identified as 64 years old…

Warrior wrestling takes Upper State crown

The West-Oak High School wrestling team captured the Upper State championship Wednesday with a 35-30 win over South Pointe from Rock Hill. The Warriors now head to the Class 3A state title matches this Saturday at Dreher High School where they face second-ranked Beaufort High School.
