Fire destroys home near Townville

Fire last night destroyed a mobile home near Townville. Oconee Rural Fire Control reports the fire that destroyed the home on Timberlake Drive is under investigation. No one hurt. The first set of volunteer fire fighters were called at 8:30. They remained at the scene nearly two hours.
