 A 2014 graduate of Tamassee-Salem High School, Danielle Queen, thinks it’s cool to see her mathematical calculations turn into creations. Pickens revitalization grant finalist

The Pickens Revitalization Association’s Main Street Challenge is one of five finalist projects for an Elevate Upstate grant. The Pickens Main Street Challenge is designed to attract new businesses to the downtown by offering reduced rent for currently vacant storefronts. Argument over a dog leads to arrests

An argument over a dog last week in Westminster led the police to file multiple charges against two people.  Authorities placed burglary and assault and battery charges against Crystal Diane Hunter and Sheldon Lashane Williams as the result of an incident Thursday night at a home on South Spring Street.
