Candidate deadline passes

Walhallans will have a choice on the ballot for the city’s special election to fill a vacant council seat. At today’s deadline, the candidate field remained Lamar Bailes and Chris Grant. The two men will compete during Walhalla’s special November 18 election to fill the remaining term of the late Kathy Rogers.
