Children placed with family member, parents arrested

The parents of two children have been arrested by the Oconee Sheriff’s Office and charged with unlawful neglect of a child. Deputies say the children are now with a family member. Fire at Lake Keowee park

A fire late last night broke out in a camper home at the Crooked Creek RV Park on Lake Keowee.  There are no known injuries have resulted from that fire.  Volunteers from the Keowee-Ebenezer Fire Department, among others, spent nearly two hours at that fire scene, beginning shortly before 11:45 p-m.
