A Tri-County Technical College sophomore placed first in the Persuasive Speaking Category in this year’s competition of the South Carolina Speech and Theatre Association. Car strikes Walhalla home

A car struck a Walhalla home early today. The Fire Department reports the accident occurred about 4 o’clock this morning on Ballenger Street. No one injured and damage to the home was described as light.
