Drug sweep passes halfway mark

By late yesterday afternoon, the Seneca police counted 22 of 41 suspects arrested in their latest sweep of the streets for alleged drug law violators. According to Chief John Covington, those 41 suspects are named in 60 arrest warrants that arise from six months’ investigation by the department’s narcotics unit.
