House fire in Utica

Threat received, no bomb found

December 9, 2013

The West Union McDonald’s and other nearby businesses were evacuated a short time last night, as sheriff’s officers investigated a bomb threat. No bomb was found and all affected businesses were permitted to resume service within an hour. Acccording to Oconee County Dispatch, the threat received wasn’t clear as to which business was threatened.
