Walhalla car accidents

Just as the Walhalla Christmas Parade ended last night, two cars collided at South Broad and Katherine streets and one driver required a trip to the hospital. The police say there were no injuries in an accident this morning at South Broad and Cedar streets.

Combat training completed

December 11, 2013

Army National Guard Private Justice Lee and Army Reserve Private Austin Chastain graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson. They underwent nine weeks of training. Lee’s the son of Kat and Mike Lee of Seneca and Chastain is the son of Belinda Neal of Walhalla and David Chastain of Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
