Jail update from Sheriff Crenshaw

After a meeting yesterday, Oconee Sheriff Mike Crenshaw said about the project to build the replacement jail, “We are still making revisions in the design mainly the interior layout to accommodate our needs. The architects are supposed to have preliminary drawings by the end of next week,” he said.

  Oconee Sheriff’s Office placed in custody a 22-year woman wanted in her home state of Georgia on a warrant alleging “snatch and grab” robbery at a Wal-Mart in Eastanollee.
