Emergency crews responded today to the Wild and Scenic Chattooga upon a hiker’s discovery of a kayak–wedged between rocks at Bull’s Sluice. 31 targeted for drug conspiracy

Oconee sheriff’s officers are pursuing conspiracy-related drug charges today against as many as 31 suspects. And, by 1:30 this afternoon, 22 of the 31 had already been arrested and sent to jail. Georgia residents arrested in Oconee

Two Georgia men were arrested Friday at an Oconee County scrap yard, and the Stephens County Sheriff’s investigators say those men brought a stolen car to that scrap yard.
