Man charged with attempted murder near Seneca

A 35-year old Utica man remained jailed at Walhalla this afternoon, charged with attempted murder and multiple offenses of weapons violations. Normally, Oconee’s convenience centers are idle on Wednesdays. But today is an exception. Because of tomorrow’s holiday, all manned convenience centers are doing business until 7 tonight. They’ll be closed Thursday and Friday and re-open at regular time Saturday morning.
