Sunday service will take place

In spite of today’s fire, Walhalla Presbyterian Church will hold Sunday morning service. The service will take place across the street at 11 a-m tomorrow in the sanctuary of St. Luke United Methodist Church, according to Walhalla Presbyterian member Deb Wickliffe.

I-85 traffic stop

A traffic stop on I-85 in Oconee County led sheriff’s officers to place charges of receiving stolen goods against three people.
