Fire report: no immediate safety concerns

A once-every-three year fire safety inspection report has been completed by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission at the Oconee Nuclear Plant. None of the findings resulted in any immediate safety concerns, according to an NRC spokesman, and Duke Energy immediately took corrective actions and other measures. Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) scores are out for South Carolina high school graduating seniors. They are slightly higher than before. Oconee School District reports its seniors mirrored that trend.
