Man charged with burglary at neighbors

A 25-year old man, Waylon Eugene Robinson, is under arrest by the Oconee Sheriff’s Department, charged with burglary second degree and petty larceny at the home of neighbors. According to Sheriff’s Department reports, the crime occurred two weeks ago on Fairfield Road near Walhalla. The victim reported missing her purse, containing medication.

High School Basketball Playoffs

The Daniel, Seneca and Walhalla girls teams were all victorious in first-round games on Monday. In boy’s action on Tuesday, Seneca defeated Woodruff 69-56. The Daniel boys beat Clinton 77-43. The Seneca boys will now travel to Eastside on Friday for a second round game, while Daniel will host Southside.
