Autopsy Report Released –Tuesday Shooting Victim

Oconee County Coroner Karl Addis has released the results of the autopsy performed on 21 year old James Evan Tyner.  According to Coroner Addis, Tyner died a result of cervical spinal cord trauma due to a gunshot wound to the neck. Anderson Roads Closed-Detours

The heavy rains have caused officials in Anderson to close two roads in Anderson County.  Hattons Ford Road and Gerrard Roads have been closed and traffic will be detoured. Lake Levels Lowered

Heavy Rains have prompted the US Army Corps of Engineers to begin releasing stored floodwaters from Hartwell, Russell & Thurmond lakes.  Inflows from the recent rainfalls has pushed the levels into the flood stage.
