Railroad crossing to close temporarily

Once again, the Jacobs Road railroad crossing near Clemson will be closed to vehicle traffic for continued maintenance by Norfolk Southern. Marijuana seized in traffic stop

Authorities in Rabun County, Georgia are investigating an allegation of disabled person abuse. EMS, the Mountain City police, and Rabun County sheriff’s officers last Wednesday investigated the assault of a Clayton adult female. Public schools project deficit spending

The Oconee School District’s finance officer says to fund the administration’s recommended budget for next year will require deficit spending. During a non-voting meeting last night, Gloria Moore provided figures to county trustees.
