The job of “Y Executive Director goes to Daryl Broome, who served as an aide during Gresham Barrett’s time as South Carolina Third District Congressman. Broome succeeds Anna Connelly, who resigned to take a job elsewhere.

Arrest made of suspect who scampered off

Oconee Sheriff’s Office arrested a 30-year old man after he was reported to have run from the scene of a shoplifting incident yesterday at Wal-Mart store on the Sandifer Boulevard.
