Mountain Rest home fire

Fire broke out in a home last night inside the Mountain Rest Volunteer Fire Department service territory. Mountain Rest fire fighters were joined by others to put out fire in a home on Apple Orchard Road. No injuries reported. The call was sounded shortly before 7:30 and fire fighters were there for nearly two hours.
