Seneca Downs Rival Razors In Softball

High school softball on Wednesday saw Seneca get a win over Walhalla 1-0 in the season opener. Sydney Smith gets the win on the mound going 7 innings, striking out 4 and allowing two hits. Next up, Seneca heads to Wren and Walhalla visits Belton Honea Path. Both games will be played on Friday.

Oconee Sheriff’s Department is keeping open its investigation of sex allegations made against a 20-year old man and, according to its spokesman, wants to talk to anyone who is aware of any other inappropriate conduct.
