Building completion next week no longer likely

The combination coroner’s headquarters and sheriff’s substation at the Oconee hospital now appears unlikely to be completed by next week, according to a county spokeswoman. October’s job picture in South Carolina

Oconee’s jobless numbers in October dropped below the state average. The state saw a slight increase in those who filed claims for being out of work. Oconee’s October figures dropped 0.5% to 6.3%.
