A sweep of the streets

The narcotics division of the Seneca police is sweeping city streets today of nearly 60 people, for whom warrants allege violations of the drug laws. Chief John Covington said his officers are targeting 57 people with 102 warrants. The offenses alleged are distribution of meth, cocaine, crack, marijuana, morphine, Xanax, Lortabs, methadone, and Oxycontin. Assisting…

Seneca students make All-State Chorus

Thirty-seven students at Seneca High School have been named to the S.C. All-State Chorus. It’s the largest number that Seneca has ever sent. Those selected will sing in March at Winthrop University, under the direction of world-renowed conductors.
