High School Volleyball

In High School Volleyball on Monday, Daniel defeated Walhalla 3-0. The top-ranked Lions won by scores of 25-11, 25-13 and 25-14. Daniel is unbeaten in Western AAA. They wrap up the regular season Wednesday, hosting Seneca, while Walhalla will travel to West-Oak. Elsewhere Monday, West-Oak defeated Seneca 3-1.

CU student killed in Oconee

A Clemson student from Pennsylvania died early today of injuries suffered in a car crash in Oconee County. The death of Tyler Earl Sands of Exton, Pennsylvania came on Sands’ 22nd birthday.
