Central accident takes teenager’s life

A 16-year old boy died in a car accident nearhis hometown of Central. Coroner Kandy Kelley said the accident that took the life of Matthew Christopher Robinson occurred at 3:20 yesterday afternoon on Brookbend Road. The highway patrol investigated the accident.

An Oconee jury found a Westminster man guilty of the lesser included offense of petty larceny. Bank holdup UPDATE

A Sheriff’s spokesman says this afternoon’s bank robber near Seneca was dressed in a hat and a green shirt.  He left the Community First Bank on Sandifer Boulevard at Sheep Farm Road with an envelope containing cash money.  Sheriff’s officers are using tracking dogs to help find the robber.  Part of the search is concentrated…
