Jobless rate drops again

October’s jobless figures for South Carolina show, once again, the number of individuals unemployed but actively looking for new work has dropped. For Oconee County, it’s the second straight month of lower numbers on the unemployment rolls. October’s rate is 8.4%. September’s was 8.6%.
