Stolen car found, two people in custody

A stolen 1998 Honda Civic turned up in Seneca today, and the police say two people are in custody. Capt. Robert Tribble says, acting on an alert from Anderson County, Seneca police stopped the car on N. Pine Street near the office of The Journal.

Local teams stay alive in postseason

Seneca’s softball team stayed alive in the Class 3A postseason with a 13-2 rout of South Pointe on Wednesday. The Bobcats now face Blue Ridge on Friday.
