Park Place resident turns 106!

Over more than a century, Eunice Marcom has seen much in a lifetime that embraced the country way of life. The former Walhalla resident, now living at The Residence at Park Place in Seneca, Marcom on Saturday will turn 106 years old. She was one of nine children, married during the depression. Her late husband, Frank, worked for a power company that gave him two off days a year—Christmas and Christmas Eve. Living in the country, Mrs. Marcom taught her grandchildren bird calls and used to hunt rabbits and squirrels and cook them. She attributes her long life to eating well and loving her Lord.
