Pavement markings to be replaced

The pavement markings, center line and edge line striping are going to be replaced this week on HiTech Road near Seneca. It means the road that serves as a connector between Wells Highway and 123, the Sandifer Boulevard, will be temporarily closed. The temporary closure begins at 12:30 a-m Thursday. According to Mack Kelley, Oconee County Engineer, the contractor expects to have HiTec Road re-opened for traffic at 2:30 a-m Thursday.
