An address along U-S 76, the Long Creek Highway in Westminster, is in line for a pet grooming business. Westminster Planning Commission last night recommended a zoning change to allow David Kane to move ahead with his plans, provided the recommendation is accepted at city council level. For a lot next door to a convenience store, Kane has applied to change the zoning classification from single-family residential to neighborhood commercial. During a hearing last night, the planning commissioners received no opposition to the change. Their vote to change the zoning was 4-0.
