Phillies no-hit Atlanta

Cole Hamels, together with three Philadelphia Phillies’ relievers,  no-hit the Atlanta Braves Monday, winning 7-0. Hamels went six innings and threw 108 pitches; he struck out seven, walked five, and hit one batter.  Then, relievers Jake Diekman, Ken Giles and Jonathan Papelbon each pitched a perfect inning to close out the 11th combined no-hitter in big league history.  It was the fourth no-hitter of the season in the Major Leagues.  Clayton Kershaw and Josh Beckett of the Dodgers, and Tim Lincecum of the Giants tossed the other no-hitters.
