Phone system upgrade for Seneca PD

November 18, 2013

Today’s the day the Seneca Police Department gets better communications. A new telephone system is being installed. And Chief John Covington says it’s a phase of Oconee County’s 9-1-1 project to upgrade systems for compatibility. “This portion of the project is being overseen by Capt. Travis Tilson of the Sheriff’s Office. We are very thankful to the county for the much needed upgrades,” Covington says.
