Pickens man draws 28-year prison term

Pickens resident Jose Reyes Reyes has been sent to prison for 28 years after being convicted by a Pickens County jury of criminal sexual conduct with a minor first degree.  Reyes is 29 years old.  He must service nearly 24 years of the sentence before he becomes eligible for parole.  According to an announcement by Walt Wilkins, Greenville-Pickens Solicitor, the defendant was convicted of sexually assaulting a six-year old girl on numerous occasions.
